Cancellation Policy

Consumers have a fourteen-day right of cancellation.

Right of Cancellation

You have the right to cancel this contract within fourteen days without providing any reason. The cancellation period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the last item.

To exercise your right of cancellation, you must inform us (RIWI buildit KFT. Hunyadi út 33, 9970 Szentgotthárd, Hungary, support@riwi-buildit.eu, Phone: +36 94 200 440) by means of a clear statement (e.g., a letter sent by post or an email) of your decision to cancel this contract. You may use the attached model cancellation form, but it is not mandatory.

In order to meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send the notification about the exercise of the right of cancellation before the cancellation period has expired.

Consequences of Cancellation

If you cancel this contract, we will refund all payments we have received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the additional costs resulting from you choosing a different type of delivery than the least expensive standard delivery we offer), without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we received the notification of your cancellation of this contract. We will use the same payment method for the refund that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no event will you incur any fees because of this refund. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is earlier.

You must return the goods without undue delay and in any case no later than fourteen days from the day on which you inform us of the cancellation of this contract, to us or to RIWI buildit KFT. (Hunyadi út 33, 9970 Szentgotthárd, Hungary). The deadline is met if you send the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired. You will bear the direct costs of returning the goods. For goods that cannot normally be returned by post due to their nature, the cost is 400 EUR. You are only liable for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling them in a way that was not necessary to examine the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.

The right of cancellation does not apply to the following contracts:

  • Contracts for the delivery of goods that are not pre-manufactured and for which an individual selection or specification by the consumer is decisive or which are clearly personalized to the consumer's needs.
  • Contracts for the delivery of sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons, if their seal has been removed after delivery.

Special Notes
If you finance this contract through a loan and later cancel it, you are also no longer bound by the loan agreement, provided both contracts form an economic unit. This is especially assumed when we are simultaneously your lender or when your lender uses our involvement in financing. If the loan has already been received by us when the cancellation takes effect, your lender will assume our rights and obligations regarding the legal consequences of the cancellation or return in relation to you. This does not apply if the present contract involves the acquisition of financial instruments (e.g., securities, foreign currencies, or derivatives).

If you want to avoid a contractual commitment as much as possible, exercise your right of cancellation and also cancel the loan agreement if you are entitled to do so.
